David Borgogni

David Borgogni doesn't believe in sweeping the matter of money under the rug. Here on Wallet on Fire, he talks about some of the most important money issues so readers can become more knowledgeable.

Why are you giving advice on Wallet on Fire?

I believe that talking openly about money is important because people often struggle to manage
their finances as they don’t know how to use the financial system. Writing about banking,
investment or credit is my way of helping people who don’t have the information they need to
make the most of the money they have.

When did you become interested in personal finance?

I started blogging about personal finance while still working at a bank. I came in contact with so
many people who mismanaged their money through my work, and I wanted to use my
knowledge and experience to help anyone who’s struggling to get their finances in order.

What is your favorite credit card?

Discover it Secured Credit Card is my favorite credit card because it has an unlimited 1% cash
back rate for all purchases.

What is one piece of advice you'd give people that want to get their finances under
control?

Take action before it’s too late, and find out what you can do to take control of your finances.
